I’ve Been There…

I felt crazy trying to start a new business in my 40’s when I had just bought a new house, had responsibilities and bills to pay. I bought my website, bought business cards and farted around on Canva trying to build my brand and business whilst not having a clue what I was doing or who I was aiming it at. I spent hours doubting myself, my skills and my self worth. Rather than putting myself out there I hid behind my computer screen hoping the 3  instagram posts I made on Canva were going to propel my business into the stratosphere because the thought of selling my business felt really gross.

That's when I created the Next Chapter Programme to help women like me not make the same mistakes as me.

THE BEST THING? I now run a business that makes me so excited to work serving the best clients who are totally aligned to me. What's even better is that it actually works! It gives me the freedom to work how and when I want. On those days when the hormones are just too much I can slow it down and the days I have energy I can ramp it up.  I have freedom and joy in my life again.

Everything changed when I finally stopped hiding behind my computer and invested in myself and my business.

I got the support I needed by investing in my coach who helped show me all the steps I needed to take to grow my business and supported me through each step whilst I worked through all the hard questions like who I was doing this for and why, what did I want my business to look like and how did I want it to work for me. I went to networking events and seminars to push me out of my comfort zone but also to help me learn and grow myself and my business. It made me realise I didn’t need more snazzy canva templates. I needed clear direction and to build something I loved and was proud of that I knew would sell.  Most importantly I stopped thinking I was crazy for wanting to do something totally new at 40.

Here’s What We’ll Cover:

In 3 months:

  • Let go of limiting beliefs and fear of starting something new, build belief in yourself and what you have to offer with your experience and life skills. Go from: I don’t think I have the tools/knowledge/knowhow to: I’ve got this and I can do it  because I have a killer product people will want to buy by the time we finish working together.

  • Getting really deep into why you want to do the work you are doing and who you want to affect by this work. We figure out the specific problem you want to solve and why you are the best person to solve it. We will create an audience you feel fully aligned and connected to.

  • Build a clear offer (eg programme) and structure to the product. Set pricing that aligns to you and your product.

  • Get a strong brand identity, colours that align with you, your personality and your product. Get, consistency in the visuals and how they are going to show up in social media, website, paper marketing etc.

  • Work towards simple content ideas that grow your visability, brand and a sustainable posting approach.

  • Gain confidence talking about your offer and understanding that sales doesn’t have to be pushy or sleezy by having a strong foundation and love for your product that does all the hard sales work for you.
